The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI) is actively engaged with youth through its several projects and activities. Youth are perceived as harbingers of change, and hence act as catalysts for implementation of sustainability agenda. It is therefore important to instill in them an awareness about environment issues. GO4Youth is a step in this direction, and targets students pursuing graduate and post graduate courses from institutions of higher education.
‘GO4Youth’ is an online examination which is held under the aegis of TERI’s GREEN Olympiad. It comprises of multiple-choice questions to evaluate knowledge, aptitude and attitude of students towards environment issues. Second in the series, this programme has taken shape of a global initiative, with partnership of United Nations Sustainable Development Solutions Network Youth (SDSN Youth) and World Sustainable Development Summit (WSDS) 2022.
GO4Youth 2021 invites applications from youth across the world to participate in this online examination. Registration can be made through the project website - www.teriin.org/olympiad. Participation certificates will be awarded to all registered students. Merit and distinctions will also be rewarded. They will be a part of a robust youth network who will receive ample opportunities to showcase their talent at national and global platforms.
The last date for registration is 31 July 2021.
